Illustrating a book about undying love

You just really don't know what you're going to find when you open up your e-mail... Recently I was contacted by the wonderful author Paul Stutzman about illustrating a little book for him called The Seedlings. It's about the strength of love, as shown in the relationship of an oak seed and an oak leaf, as they go through a cycle of death and rebirth together.

This project really stretched my imagination... I can't wait to see what it looks like once it's published!
