The grasses and nuts that make whiskey and other spirits

I love working on consumer products, even though they're not necessarily the most science illustrator-y thing I do. The designers are amazing, and I usually get samples. That's all definitely true when working with the New Brighton Distillery! So far I've made illustrations for spirits made with barley, wheat, rye and corn, and most recently for brandy and hazelnut whiskey. Only two of the products have made it to market so far, corn and wheat whiskey. I have never considered myself a whiskey person, but honestly, I really enjoy wetting my lips on these!
