What's not to love about the Western Bluebird? The male's incredible, eye-piercing blue and the female's more camo-oriented colors – both are just delightful. They mostly eat insects, but during the colder months they absolutely love berries, like these chokecherries they're feasting on in this illustration.
Art is approximately 12 x 9", and the frame is approx. 18 x 14″, watercolor, pen and ink, $600 includes domestic shipping
