• Green sturgeon is an anadromous fish (lives in both fresh and salt water) that is listed as threatened under the Endangered Species Act. It feeds voraciously on benthic macrofauna such as those shown here during its time in the ocean, but faces threat due to loss of spawning habitat in fresh water rivers.
